Refund Policy

1. Your Consumer Rights
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded.
If we fail to deliver services as promised or there is a major failure in service quality, you may be entitled to:
- A refund
- Service remedy or correction
This policy outlines our standard refund approach, but does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. Subscription Services
LocalPages.au provides website creation, hosting, and maintenance under an active subscription.
3. No Refunds for Change of Mind
- No refunds for change of mind
- No refunds for partial billing periods
- Applies to monthly and annual subscriptions
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time:
- Your website remains active until the end of the current paid period
- No further charges apply after cancellation
- No refund for unused time in the current billing period
5. Annual Plans
Annual plans are charged upfront and are non-refundable once commenced, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
6. Domain & One-Off Fees
- Domains are charged annually and are non-refundable once registered
- Domain fees are charged separately from subscriptions
- Setup, migration, and custom work fees are non-refundable once work has commenced
7. Service Failures
If we fail to deliver your website or there is a verifiable fault that cannot be reasonably fixed within 14 days, you may be entitled to:
- A full or partial refund
- Service credit
- Alternative remedy

8. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:
- Immediate service suspension
- Account termination
- Legal action to recover costs
Please contact us first to resolve any billing disputes.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be:
- Processed within 14 business days
- Returned to the original payment method via Stripe
- Confirmed via email
