This policy explains how and why we contact you, in compliance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth).
1. Why We Contact You
We may contact you to:

- Discuss our services
- Provide service updates or billing notifications
- Respond to your enquiries
- Deliver subscription-related communications
2. How We Obtain Contact Details
We obtain contact information from:
- Public business directories (e.g. Yellow Pages, True Local)
- Google Business Listings
- Public websites
- Direct enquiries or contact forms
- Your subscription account
We do not purchase private contact lists or use scraped data.
3. Consent
Initial Contact:
- Our first message to you is based on publicly available business information.
- This initial contact is permitted under the Spam Act 2003 for business-to-business communications.
Express Consent:
- By responding to our initial message, you provide express consent to receive further communications.
- By subscribing to our service, you provide express consent to receive service-related messages.
We do not rely on "inferred consent" for ongoing communications.
4. Opt-Out
You may opt out at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS
- Emailing support@localpages.au
- Clicking unsubscribe links in emails
We will process opt-out requests within 2 business days.
5. Message Frequency
- Marketing messages: Occasional (typically 1-2 per month)
- Service messages: As needed (billing, updates, support)
We limit messages to what is relevant and reasonable.
6. Calls & Call Forwarding
- Call metadata may be logged via providers such as Twilio
- Calls are not recorded unless explicitly disclosed at the start of the call

8. No Spam
We do not conduct bulk spam campaigns. All messages relate to:

- Existing business relationships
- Service subscriptions
9. Business-to-Business Communications
As a business service provider, our communications are primarily business-to-business (B2B). The Spam Act 2003 permits B2B communications where there is a relevant business relationship.
